An adjustment appointment is for clients who just need a quick realignment/maintenance and have previously seen Dr. Bird for an initial visit. The following are not provided during this treatment: soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, and rehab programming.
If you are a returning client who needs more time due to your current condition, please choose this option. The appointment is also for those who need a re-evaluation of the complaint that brought you in to see Dr. Bird.
If it is your first time seeing Dr. Bird or you have a new complaint this is the option for you. The initial consultation will give us a chance to discuss your complaint and what the potential causes could be. Following this discussion, a physical will be performed to determine the precise cause of your pain or discomfort. During the physical Dr. Bird transitions seamlessly into treatment.
This is a follow up appointment after an initial chiropractic appointment and is dedicated to acupuncture only. Medical acupuncture helps promote the natural healing properties of the body. It does so by stimulating the release of natural pain-relieving chemicals (endorphins), increasing blood flow to targeted sites, and improving mechanical activation of musculature when paired with electrical stimulation. Medical acupuncture is an effective option in the treatment of both acute and chronic conditions.

This 90 minute session is for clients who have not seen Heidi previously. This is weighted more on Informed Consent, Assessment, Health History and Self Care, which may be up to ¾ of the treatment time with at least 30 minutes of treatment. In this session we will determine the best modalities for your ongoing treatment plan. The following modalities address several conditions including but not limited to postural low back, neck, shoulder tension, injuries, stress, scars, etc. Massage may include modalities such as Microcurrent Point Stimulation Therapy, Stamina Alignment, Cranial Sacral Therapy and/or Visceral Manipulation
Enjoy a massage with a portion of the treatment using the small silicon facial cups and gua sha tools to help remove fascial restrictions and increase circulation in the face, jaw and neck.

Traditional Thai Massage is a treatment where the therapist manipulates the client into various yoga poses with the massage work being mostly compressions. No oils or lotions are used and the recipient remains clothed during treatment.. There is constant body contact between the therapist and client, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked. The treatment is given on the floor, on top of comfortable mats and blankets. This is an ancient healing practice that originated in India. This 60 minute Traditional Thai Massage allows enough time to do a thorough lower body treatment with some upper body work.
