Overnight doula care can make a huge difference by reducing exhaustion, supporting recovery, and easing the emotional intensity of new parenthood. While you rest, I stay awake to care for your baby—handling diapering, soothing, burping, swaddling, and feedings (breast/chest or bottle). I also keep a log of sleep and feeding patterns, and can teach gentle nighttime soothing techniques if desired. For parents, this means minimized disruptions, emotional reassurance in the early weeks, and extra support if you’re healing from a C-section or difficult birth. I can also manage light household tasks such as washing bottles/pump parts, light laundry, or prepping snacks for the next day. Overnight support is ideal for first-time parents, families with multiples, those recovering from a C-section, parents experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety, or anyone who simply needs rest and a trusted, nurturing expert overnight. *please note all overnight care outside of saskatoon is charged a $1/km round trip fee
