Though it's wild how long it took me to finally give acupuncture a try, I feel fortunate to have had my first experience with it at The Village Acupuncture. I've been going to see Sara for just about a month now, and it's been an energizing and healing experience. I have been coming to The Village for over a year now, and I have seen incredible results. I have chronic pain due to fibroids, endometriosis and some super fun perimenopause symptoms and by working with Sara regularly, I was able to reduce my pain and keep some of those symptoms in check! The village acupuncture is absolutely the best! My arms were very numb for a while and it was hard to get any sleep. The pain was intolerable. Luckily, Sara was there to help! After 3 sessions, I was better completely. The first session made me feel 50% better, the second session I was able to do stuff again, and the third made the numbness go away completely! I've had an all around good experience at The Village. I started going when I was pregnant with my now 7 year old, and have felt my overall health has benefited in innumerable ways from my treatments. I see Lisa regularly - her skill and chair-side manner are exceptional!! I have only had a handful of treatments but it somehow feels like many more as the effect of working with Sara has been profound. She is wonderfully skilled, collaborative and intuitive. The space itself is as warm and welcoming as she is. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't much like the open room setup and the presence of other clients but it doesn't bother me in the least and I actually find the communal aspect to be quite comforting and not at all distracting.
