During this appointment, your limb volume (arm and/or leg) will be measured using a machine called a perometer. The perometer is a quick, easy, and non-invasive machine that uses a moveable frame with light sensors to scan and measure the volume of your limb. Please note that in order to access this service, you must be referred by or currently seeing a healthcare professional who has training in lymphedema assessment and treatment. With your permission, the person doing the perometer assessment will send your healthcare professional your perometer measurements after your appointment. Your healthcare professional will then review your perometer measurements with you.
