30 minManual Osteopathic Therapy (MOT) is a form of hands-on therapy with a primary focus on restoring function and eliminating pain by addressing the root cause of the pain, imbalance, injury or illness. The whole body is considered and dysfunctions are treated whether symptoms exist or not. Imbalances found are gently treated with techniques that engage the dysfunctional tissue until function is normalized. Changes are often felt immediately or shortly after the treatment. During a MOT appointment, you will be assessed and a variety of techniques will be used to relieve restriction and restore proper motion. These techniques include Osteoarticulations, Lymphatic Drainage, Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, Muscle Energy Techniques, and Rapid NeuroFascial Reset. This is ideal for both acute and chronic conditions.
