Alyssa takes the time to listen and then personalizes her treatment plan to your specific needs. I found that her approach works best for me as I have multiple areas of injury and she is able to focus her treatment and provide recommendations based on my needs as they progress. Alyssa also made me feel comfortable while being in a very vulnerable state. Olivia was very professional and informative. This was my first appointment with her, and she took the time to listen to the pain I was experiencing. She asked a wide range of questions to ensure she fully understood my needs. The massage was excellent, and she made sure to focus on my areas of concern. She worked on the affected areas and provided some relief. I knew I would need more the one appointment to help with the issue so any relief in the moment was amazing. Today I went to see Chantal Whitaker for a deep tissue massage to relieve some tension in my shoulder. I train extremely heavy in bodybuilding and have been getting massages very frequently for over 15 years. I recently moved to the Okanagan from Alberta, and I can honestly say this was one of the best massages I’ve ever received. Chantal is very strong, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly understands the body at a high level. She knew exactly what she was doing and paid close attention to the areas that truly needed work instead of just following a routine. The pressure was spot on, the techniques were effective, and I felt a noticeable difference immediately after. If you train hard, deal with chronic tension, or are looking for someone who actually knows how to work deep tissue properly, I highly recommend her.
