Neurotoxin injections such as Botox, can be used to treat focal hyperhidrosis of the axilla (localized excessive sweating in the armpits) . The toxin temporarily blocks the nerves that stimulate sweating, providing relief for several months. *Prior to booking this treatment please make sure your health insurance plan covers Botox for hyperhidrosis. If you do not have record of a previous diagnosis of hyperhidrosis, you will need to book 2 appointments - 1 for assessment where one of of our healthcare providers will perform a sweat test. After this is completed we will provide a prescription for Botox (if indicated) and you will need to fill this prescription and bring the Botox with you to your next appointment for injection** * Cost: $250.00 injection fee with the above information/criteria* **If you do not have health insurance that covers this procedure, the treatment cost is 1250$ plus tax**
