“A Miraculous Improvement with Dr. Di Wu’s Acupuncture My husband had been suffering from chronic pain for over four years, following a hip replacement surgery that left his SI joint, glute, and hip muscles improperly rehabilitated. The pain was severe, reaching 8 or 9 out of 10, and it affected his ability to walk normally. He developed a side-to-side waddle and eventually had to rely on a walking stick. Everyday tasks became increasingly difficult, fitness classes were a distant memory, and sleep was hard to come by. Despite trying various treatments—prescription and OTC pain medications, massage, physiotherapy, needling (which is much different than acupuncture), and laser therapy—nothing provided lasting relief. In my search for alternatives, I came across Dr. Di Wu, at Canadian Western TCM Clinic, a local White Rock acupuncturist with outstanding credentials and glowing reviews. After just one session, my husband experienced noticeable relief. He has now had a total of five acupuncture treatments, including two glucose injections aimed at repairing certain tissues, and the results have been nothing short of miraculous. Since beginning treatment last month, my husband has stopped relying on painkillers. His walking has significantly improved, the side-to-side waddle has nearly disappeared, and he’s even able to sleep through most of the night. While mornings are still a bit stiff, after applying some heat and gradually moving around for a couple of hours, he’s good to go for the rest of the day. “Dr. Wu is fantastic! I was starting to give up hope that I would have any pain relief in my shoulder, shoulder blade, neck and arm. I had never sought out acupture treatment and boy am happy that I found Dr. Wu. He is helping me with my endless loop of referred pain from my cercival spine. And please don't worry about the needles as you barely feel. If you fear needles trust me that he's very gentle and you won't even notice them. The reward is so worth it fear of needles.
