The most unprofessional encounter with Coast Burquitlam. I was scheduled with a graduate student named DEON QUACH. DO NOT BOOK WITH HIM. I waited at the clinic for 15 minutes before being told that, in the receptionists exact words, he "didn't see his schedule" and would be 1 hour late if I wanted to wait!? As I have a 4 and 2 year old at home that need me, I don’t have the leisure of casually waiting around an extra hour for an unprofessional therapist. Also, having driven 30 minutes both ways in extreme neck pain was not enjoyable. I am making formal complaints because I believe someone who is clearly lazy enough not to check his schedule should probably not become an RMT/pass his licensing. Add photosLire la suiteRéduire

To be honest, I visited Coast Therapy at 2800 East 1st ave, Vancouver, BC for back and neck pain. While the overall environment and service were fine, I was very disappointed with the actual treatment. I saw a chiropractor who barely spent 30 minutes with me. I did experience some temporary relief for about 20–30 minutes, but the pain quickly returned, and there was no lasting improvement. On top of that, I was charged $112, which I found unreasonable for such a short and ineffective session. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience.Lire la suiteRéduire

Micheal is my acupuncturist at Coast Therapy in Port Coquitlam and he is the best! He is extremely kind, patient and knowledgeable in his practice! If you are having any sort of pain, please go see him - I highly recommended him to all!

After I woke up with a semi-paralyzed upper back on the left, I went to see my GP, then another GP. Then I tried NUCCA chiropractic, massage, lots of meds, muscle relaxants, nerve relaxants (Gabapentine), etc, the pain just wouldn't go away. So, I desperately called Coast Therapy's Nozar and begged for IMS. He patiently listened to me and invited me to join him in one of their locations (as I persisted on urgency) and he treated me. That night, I slept with a simple advil. I went back to my GP, and I received no other meds. Except he said I have to suck it up. The next Friday, I went back to Nozar. Now, I'm sitting behind my computer without the pinched nerve pain, and while I'm doing his prescribed stretches, I'm getting ready to go to bed without ANY pain medication. Just 2 sessions. I'm not going to stop there though. I need my neck, my hands, and my time with family. Thank you Nozar for all you have done for my family!Lire la suiteRéduire
