“Had an appointment at 3:40 and waited an hour and a half for them and if I didn’t went up and talked to the receptionist I feel like they would have made me wait longer, and it took another 10-15 mins for the doctor to came. Doctor was nice but I don’t know if it’s worth waiting this long.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“They screw up on booking your appointment time after time. The receptionist at the front barely speak a word of English. I had to ask for multiple different people just so I could understand what they were saying because their accents were so strong. And even after that, they could barely understand what I was saying in English.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“This place used to be okay, but they now seem to change receptionists constantly (I assume due to bad working conditions) and they manage to screw something up almost every time I have an appointment. I tried to get a requisition form sent to me about 3 times a while back, and they kept saying they sent it, checking to make sure my email was correct multiple times too but it never came, so I finally had to go get it in person. They used to have decent doctors too but not anymore; Dr. Abood is very rude and unprofessional and hard to understand as well, he needs to retire.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I’m writing to express my concern regarding a recent phone conversation I had with Dr. Cramer. Unfortunately, the interaction left me feeling dismissed and uncomfortable. I had sent photos of my moles for review, and Dr. Cramer quickly stated that they "look fine" just based on the photos — which I found surprising and not very reassuring, given the limitations of photo-based assessments. I also inquired about getting an ultrasound of my internal organs, but instead of offering proper guidance, she mentioned a private company and began dictating an email address over the phone. When I asked if she could send the information via email instead, she responded by saying she was doing me a favor by even speaking to me on the phone — and then abruptly hung up. I felt this was highly unprofessional and not reflective of the care and support I expect from a medical provider. I would appreciate if this matter could be looked into, as patients deserve to be treated with respect and empathy. I truly don’t understand how a healthcare provider can tell a patient that they are “doing them a favor” by speaking on the phone. If you are unable to provide proper care or communicate respectfully, then perhaps phone consultations should not be offered at all. I’m honestly shocked by how this system is functioning — it’s extremely disappointing and discouraging to experience this kind of treatment in Canada’s healthcare system.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I had a phone consultation to renew prescriptions. It was with a different doctor as Dr.Sung(he is a great doctor who always provided the best care) had left. The new doctor spoke to me for a long time asking many questions and then said that he would have my prescriptions sent to my pharmacy which was confirmed. I had planned ahead so I didn’t need to order the medications from the pharmacy for a couple of weeks. When I did go to do so, there had been no prescriptions sent in. I contacted Elicare and was told that there was no record of my prescription request and I would have to book another appointment. As ridiculous as that sounded, I booked because there was no other option. I waited hours and the phone call never came. Thankfully a friend told me about Telus Health online and I was able to get my prescriptions renewed through them. I never heard back from anyone at Elicare. I would not recommend wasting your time trying to book an appointment with them. I am sad that Dr.Sung has left but happy for him that he got out of there.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Haven't had the best experience with this clinic. We had a family doctor (Dr John Slanina) who moved clinics and then moved out of province. We were never made aware until it was time that we needed a check up or arrange an appointment to speak with with doctor. The next doctor that was assigned to us was nothing close to better. (Dr. Abood) He is not patient and quick to dismiss all our concerns. One thing I don't like is we book the appointment for one reason and that is the only thing that is allowed to be discussed. We can not discuss other concerns that come up during the same appointment, we have to book separate appointments for separate concerns. Very unhappy with the experience we have had. Don't feel compassion from the recent family doctors we have had at this clinic - they are so quick to dismiss and not take the time to listen to our concerns.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I had a phone call on Jun 10 with Dr Cheung and I asked for a refill for my anxiety meds that I’ve been on for 3 years. And I clarified that he was sending it to my pharmacy etc. phone call lasted for 15 mins as he asked many questions and he said he would email me questionnaire for a possible new medication. I never got an email. Fast forward to today I go to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription, to which I find out that they never got the anxiety meds request but got one for birth control. I never asked for a birth control refill. I now call the clinic and wait forever on hold for them to answer and tell me to hold for longer. I finally speak to one of the girls and she said there is no record of Dr Cheung asking for the anxiety meds - only birth control. She then tells me to find another clinic as he is not in until next Saturday! She was no help at all and made it seem as if my phone call on Monday never happened and was asking me to spell out the medication for her! Eli care is a horrid clinic with failing doctors and idiotic reception. I do not recommend this clinic.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Right in the mall. It is a busy location as are most walk in clinics. Yes expect a wait (allow +2hr). Although they told me it was going to be a 30-45min wait - it turned out to be 1.5hr wait. There must be a more efficient way of managing drop in and appointment bookings with only one doctor on duty. Maybe they should have two doctors with one just for drop ins only and one for appointment and drop ins. It's disheartening to sit and wait, see people go in who dropped in before you, feel a sense of progress that you're moving up in the line but then out of the blue to you, you get bumped back because of people coming in on appointment - you don't know how many and when their place is before you. I don't mind/am prepared to wait but sometimes you just need to be able to see there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Reception staff was just fine. They were short staffed during my visit so I understood she was very busy trying to manage on her own. Have not tried their online appointment system but may do so in the future.”Lire la suiteRéduire
