“Sabrina is one of the best. She was very intentional with her time. She made every minute count. She knew what she was doing and changed her techniques every 5 minutes. I absolutely hate it when someone uses the SAME technique on me the whole hour!!! She used different parts of her hand, fingers and arms to apply pressure with perfect form. “I’ve been going to this clinic for close to 10 years and have always had positive experiences, which makes this recent visit even more disappointing. As a long-time, loyal customer, I expected a certain level of consistency and care—but unfortunately, that was not the case. The massage I received was extremely inconsistent in pressure and technique. At times it felt okay, but overall it lacked the quality and attentiveness I’ve come to expect from this clinic. I didn’t want to spend the entire appointment repeatedly correcting the pressure, as that defeats the purpose of trying to relax during a massage. I should only have to mention it once or twice—not feel like I have to guide the entire session. On top of that, I paid extra for a scalp massage with a peppermint treatment, and the peppermint treatment was never done. When I brought this up, the only solution offered by the manager was a “complimentary” peppermint treatment. That’s not really complimentary when it’s something I already paid for and didn’t receive—it’s simply providing the original service that should have been done in the first place. I requested either a complimentary massage or a credit so I could book with a different therapist and actually receive the quality of service I’m used to. Instead, I was told that they don’t offer refunds—which is confusing, because I never asked for a refund. I was simply asking for a reasonable resolution to a poor experience. What’s most frustrating is that after nearly a decade of loyalty, it feels like that means nothing to Healica. There was no real acknowledgment of the poor experience or effort to make it right in a meaningful way. “I attended this clinic once for acupuncture related to mental health and physical injury recovery. The clinic offers direct billing, and my treatment was approved to be fully covered through my workplace insurance. When an authorization issue arose and the claim did not process correctly, I was advised by staff at this office that they would coordinate directly with my employer/insurer to correct it. I provided the requested contact information twice and was reassured this was something they routinely handled. That follow-through never occurred. Rather than contacting the insurance/workplace representative who referred me and approved the sessions, responsibility shifted back to me to pay out of pocket and attempt reimbursement myself, despite this not being what was discussed and despite coverage approval being in place. While I understand standard consent language around billing, this was an administrative issue I did not create. Communication became fragmented, with multiple staff members responding rather than a single accountable point of contact. After I disputed the charge in writing, the tone escalated to formal payment demands and threat-style language regarding collections and legal recovery — over a balance of $60. All of this occurred after a single appointment and ultimately interrupted further care. For someone seeking recovery for mental health and physical injuries, this added stress was difficult and disappointing. “My experience has been nothing short of delightful. They are friendly and professional. I love scents like perfumes but I so appreciate that it's not a scented environment. There is no inscense burning and the oils they use also seem unscented. It is always welcoming and relaxing when I attend. The staff at the front desk are so friendly and Ethan is amazing. I don't think I could ever see anyone else. I've never prior to visiting Healica had a massage before but Ethan is great. I prefer a deep tissue massage and he definitely delivers. “I was researching for a good spot where to get a breaking back massage. On an occasion I got to meet Betany, and when she told me she can “break backs” I decided to visit the place. I cannot express how happy I got when I was feeling some muscles which I didn’t even kknow they existed until I got the massage from Betany. I would highly recommend to visit Betany as she makes you feel amazing afterwards. And btw, everything happened as she promised, the next day I felt a little soar, but today I feel great.
