“No technique, no professionalism whatsoever. In my opinion, it's a total rip-off. I've never been so anxious for it to end. It was incredibly uncomfortable. The "masseuse" clearly didn't know what she was doing and just ran her hands over my back. I felt like I wasted my time and money. The place is awful. In short, I absolutely do not recommend it. I wouldn't even go back for a glass of water. I recommend they shut this place down.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Nuad Thai massage has some really talented massage therapists. If you’re looking for one that specializes in deep tissue I highly recommend Moon. She’s been very attentive in loosening all my knots making me feel extremely relieved after every appointment. The blend with Thai massage techniques is so amazing and I’m always feeling brand new after. Thank you Nuad and thank you to Moon! (:”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I had such a great experience! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. This is my second time getting a Thai massage and I loved it”

“The staff was friendly enough, but the massage itself was extremely disappointing. As a massage therapist myself, I truly didn’t feel like the therapist was professionally trained. The same movements were repeated over and over - very novice technique, and the pace was so quick it was impossible to relax. The rushed pace gave me a headache before the massage was even half way done. The neck stretch he performed was far too aggressive and my neck is now strained. He seriously could injure someone’s neck with the technique he used. As someone who loves Eastern medicine and Thai massage techniques, I’m very disappointed.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“My go-to massage place in Calgary. Really clean and professional. Every single therapist I had here was skilled and never had a bad massage here. A bit pricey, but you can see why you might be paying a bit more here than at other places.”

“Two weeks ago, I had my first massage at your studio with a female therapist, and it was a wonderful experience. That is why I booked a second session through ClassPass, assuming I would be matched with a female therapist again for my comfort. However, I was not informed beforehand that the therapist would be male. Unfortunately, the difference in quality was extremely noticeable — this was probably the worst massage I have ever had. He didn’t seem to understand basic technique or how to work with the muscles at all. The session began with very light, almost child-like strokes. When I asked for more pressure, he simply pushed down on random spots without using proper technique. He also applied the same level of pressure on my arms as on my back, even though arms should be massaged more gently — something I consider to be basic knowledge for any therapist. At the beginning he even started using his elbows for light strokes, which felt strange and pointless, as if he was just filling time. Many of his movements didn’t make sense and had no noticeable effect. I had to tell him at least 3–5 times how I preferred things to be done, and he never seemed to sense when something was painful or uncomfortable. He also pinched the neck area instead of using proper finger techniques. Overall, there were far more uncomfortable moments than relaxing ones, which should never happen during a professional massage. And most importantly, he barely understood English, which made communication difficult. If a therapist cannot understand what the client is asking for, it raises concerns about how they can work effectively with clients in general. I truly enjoyed my first experience at your studio, which is why this second session was so disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve consistency and communication regarding therapist assignments in the future.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Foot massage between your hiking days is the best idea🤩🤩🤩 Mrs. Moon did an amazing job. I highly recommend you book it ahead cause I didn’t have appointment today but they tried to let me in during the busy Labor Day weekend. Now I’m ready for my next hiking trip. “This is an amazing Thai Traditional massage I’ve had since moving to Calgary! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful—they worked wonders on my sore legs. Highly recommend!”

“Been going for massage here with my partner for the past 4 months and we always feel welcomed by the staff with their smiling faces whenever we come in. Our therapist, Tong, is great. We usually go for Relaxation or Deep Tissue massage, and the occasional Thai stretching techniques. He always asks how much pressure you would prefer and will make sure that the pressure is okay or enough, even during the massage session. He has some great strokes to loosen up muscle knots and gives the best foot massage. Will surely recommend going here and trying out their services. We have randomly walked in one day and have regularly been going here for several months now. They are tucked in a little building between two larger ones, but that is what makes the place inside so homey.”Lire la suiteRéduire
