“Very Disappointed with Last-Minute Cancellation I booked a massage appointment with River Oaks Chiropractic over six weeks in advance, and they cancelled on me just two hours before my appointment because the therapist was unwell. While I understand that people get sick, a professional clinic should have a backup plan or provide more notice — especially when they enforce strict cancellation fees for patients. If I had cancelled this close to my appointment, I would have been charged. It’s completely unfair that the same standard doesn’t apply both ways. I rearranged my entire day for this booking and was left with no solution or offer to make things right. Very disappointed in how this situation was handled. “My wife, son and I all visit ROC. Laura and Christina are brilliant! They find the problem areas quickly and really treat those sore spots. I always leave feeling much better. I wish I could have massage and chiro everyday! That above was 5 years ago. Since Laura left, with Sarah and now Kim, Christina and her team continue to look after me and my family. “I would like to take a moment to applaud Dr. Alexa. About 2 months ago I did something to my back and it left me in complete agony. A colleague mentioned Dr. Alexa. I was hesitant as I had never been to chiro but really wanted to avoid the ER. I gave her a call and luckily she had a spot that day for me. Truth be told it was a slow progression but with every appointment we had further progress. Dr. Alexa was very gentle and kind. She diagnosed my problem within minutes and am now down to an appointment every 3 weeks for maintenance. “Dr Christina is kind, compassionate and really takes the time to listen to her patients. Her clinic has a sense of calm and you instantly feel at ease when you go for treatment. When I twisted the wrong way and “tweaked” my neck, I was able to get an appointment quickly and after my first treatment felt the pain starting to ease away. “Dr. Christina McGlashan is the best out there! I first went to her back in high school when I was an athlete, and she was there to fix/tweak any injury I experienced. It’s now been 14 years and she’s still the only chiropractor I see for any issues. “I saw Dr. Christina recently and unfortunately , I had a horrible experience. My body the next day after treatment went into a complete flare up from a problem I used to have. I went in with no pain whatsoever but just wanted to check my posture and came out with pain that I have seen my doctor about in the past. Her treatment was too aggressive and I have seen other chiro and physios before but never did I get such a bad reaction to a treatment. I am currently working with my doctor to try to undo the work she has done. I put my trust into someone that I shouldn’t have and this was neglectance on their part as they should have worked that area slowly”Lire la suiteRéduire
