Poorly run resort. Management lack ethics and integrity. The cancel you confirmed and deposit paid bookings with no regard. We had an elopement booked for well over a year and after they sold out the resort for a more profitable booking shortly after we confirmed our booking, they told us about it almost a year later and two months before our wedding date. Avoid this place at all costs if you are making long term plans. They have made it clear what their priorities are as a business and don’t let them ruin your experience. Management also has no accountability. Everything above can be backed up with emails and paid invoices.Lire la suiteRéduire

Great views quiet location. We found all staff was nice but there’s not much for services on hand, we never used anything at the resort aside from our tent and included kayaks, which we really enjoyed. We ate in Sechelt and brought snacks. It’s a 5-7 minute walk to your tent from the lodge, outdoors with some inclines and some steps depending on your tent. We loved the views, the tent was spacious, clean, had everything we needed for a few nights. If you want room service and elevators this isn’t for you, if you want tranquility and ocean views and amazing scenery, check it out!Lire la suiteRéduire

Don't waste your money! My fiancé and I stayed here before and had a wonderful stay. We decided to book our honeymoon here since we both loved it, boy was that ever a mistake! The resort has gone extremely downhill, little to 0 maintenance has been done. Our luxury tent house had no hot water the first night. We were told we had to run the sink, shower and tub at once to get hot water... no problem. The tent below us came to party. We had to listen to their music blaring all night, it vibrated our tent. We get that the tent houses don't have walls, but blaring music doesn't really give off the relax vibes this place is marketed to be. We called at 1030 to the front desk, they said the noise rules are in effect at 11pm. Called back at 1130 and the desk staff were gone. Had to listen to their music til 145 am! Music came back on around 645 am the following morning. Not impressed at all. In the resort book in the room it says the rockwater takes noise complaints seriously and that a $200 fee could be charged and given to the inconvenienced. Didn't get that. The couple making the noise however got late checkout! So nice to reward negative behaviour. In fact my husband got into a fight with the owner that morning when he went down to follow up on our complaint that should have been handled that night. The owner told us to leave and that he was worried we would complain again that night....... seriously? We are a young couple on our honeymoon just trying to relax. I feel that staying up listening to music literally vibrate our tent is a valid reason to complain. Nothing was left in our room following that, not even a cheap bottle of wine. You'd think on your honeymoon paying over 2k for 3 nights you would get something.. even a card saying congrats. But nope. I am so disappointed and disgusted we paid that and wasted our honeymoon here. Also make sure if you stay here you are prepared to come back to your tent at 330 pm to your room unmade. Housekeeping apparently comes around 4. I would never recommend anyone staying here. The owner doesn't see you as a guest, simply as a customer that he would be happy to replace. Spending over $2000 for 3 nights to leave disappointed is a terrible feeling. The restaurant also has 4 options for dinner, 2 being seafood, a very limited menu that is extremely overpriced. The grounds are littered with cigarette butts, even though there is "no smoking" signs up, but I guess they don't follow that rule either.Lire la suiteRéduire

Where to begin, on a positive note, the bar staff were friendly and welcoming. The views were absolutely stunning but then you unpack and your stay begins. We booked an elopement package through the resort and we did not receive the services that were paid for. The cleaning staff leaves much to be desired, the staff was absolutely no help when it came to the ceremony in fact, they held it up by neglecting to have items there that were previously arranged such as ice and our bouquets which were not what we had ordered in the first place. The morning after our wedding, we find out that the breakfast that comes with the package is not to be served to our suite that we need to make the 10 minute hike from our tent suite to the lodge, and then we get a call telling us that the couples massage cannot take place either. At this point, my new wife was sitting on the edge of the bed in tears in disbelief that this resort we had paid to ensure a perfect elopement weekend had severely dropped the ball. Our last night here, we come back to our suite after being gone since we got the call at 9am informing us that there would be no couples massage, only to find dirty coffee cups crawling with ants along with other dirty dishes, no garbage had been taken out, and the bed looked Iike it had been made by a 5 year old. Their answer was to send a bottle of cheap Prosecco to our suite. On checkout, we were advised that nothing could be discussed until Julianne was back on Tuesday. Our calls and emails have been ignored. We are absolutely disheartened and are disgusted with the lack of professionalism from the resort for a $2000 per night stay.Lire la suiteRéduire

Amazing place and very friendly staff. Rooms are strategically located and the whole place has a charm by itself. Great place for weddings and relaxation.
