Reiki healing is an energy transmission (light and love) that creates a sense of calm, peace, and relaxation. Reiki practitioners do not transmit their own energy but rather universal energy. It helps release tensions, emotions, and stress, creating space to connect with our Consciousness and experience transformations. This form of energy is intelligent and works on the internal source of problems as well as the symptoms. The recipient receives exactly what they need to support them at the time of the session; it is not the practitioner who decides the course of the session, but this “Intelligence.” Other energy healing modalities act differently by activating, rebalancing, or dissolving the blocks of existing vital energy within the physical and subtle bodies (koshas), chakras, and meridians. There are now numerous scientific studies that corroborate the effects of Reiki and energy healing.
