Dans ses motsAly is an orthopaedic and women's health physiotherapist with a focused practice in pelvic health across pregnancy, postpartum and menopause. She helps women experiencing concerns such as pelvic floor dysfunction, leaking, pelvic pressure, pain, and core weakness including diastasis recti.
With extensive clinical experience, Aly regularly assesses and treats complex pelvic health presentations and is certified to perform internal pelvic floor examinations and pessary fittings. Her approach is rooted in understanding how the body functions as a whole, helping identify contributing factors and guiding clear, practical treatment plans that fit into real life.
She combines hands-on therapy, targeted exercise, and education to help patients feel more connected, confident, and supported in their bodies.
In addition to patient care, Aly mentors clinicians in orthopaedic and pelvic health, and serves as a clinical instructor for physiotherapy students completing their clinical rotation through UBC.
Aly also holds a fellowship in Advanced Orthopaedic Manual therapy (FCAMPT) and experience working with a wide range of patients, including dancers and athletes.
Having a dance background herself, she brings strong understanding of movement, performance, and hypermobility.
Outside of the clinic, Aly loves to golf, and spending time outdoors with her twins.
