About Amie
Hi! I am a member in good standing of the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association as a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling – Provisional (MPCC-Prov).
I believe you are the expert of your own life, and I work collaboratively with you to support healing, growth, and self-awareness. My approach is compassionate, person-centered, and tailored to your individual history, goals, and learning style, with a strong emphasis on creating a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.
I have a special interest in working with athletes, supporting performance, confidence, identity, and mental resilience both in and out of sport. I also work with children, adolescents, families, and couples, and support concerns including anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, body image, stress, and life transitions.
I live in Vernon with my husband and three daughters. Much of my time is spent at the pool supporting my swimmers or exploring the Okanagan with my family. I look forward to working alongside you.
