Christina graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland in 2016. Prior to this she completed a Bachelors of Kinesiology, Honours degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Christina’s passion for pelvic health physiotherapy was first sparked after working in a maternity & gynecology hospital in Glasgow, Scotland. She is dedicated to treating and caring for patients with pelvic floor dysfunction including bladder and bowel issues, pelvic organ prolapse, persistent pelvic pain and sexual activity related pain. Christina is also committed to treating pre and postpartum specific concerns, such as Diastasis Rectus Abdominus Muscles (DRA), pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions and exercising in the pre and postpartum period. Christina is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and its Women’s Health Division. Christina’s approach to pelvic health physiotherapy is focused around patient empowerment and education in which patients are at the center of their treatment plan and goal setting. Christina is also an APPI Certified Matwork Pilates Instructor. Outside of work Christina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being at the cabin, baking and doing Pilates.
