About Danielle
As a multi-sport athlete, Dr. Dani Troop competed in trampoline, volleyball, and rugby, but her journey was marked by a series of injuries that often left her feeling frustrated and unable to perform at her best. Her passion for injury prevention and sports performance began at the age of 13, when they experienced a life-changing injury. While training to compete in the Olympics, they tore their ACL, hamstrings, fractured their tibia, and dislocated their leg in one devastating accident. What followed was an overwhelming combination of hospital visits, physical therapy, and the fear that she may never return to their previous level of performance. Although she didn’t make it to the Olympics, this experience sparked a deep interest in biomechanics and ignited a passion for helping others recover and perform at their peak.
This newfound interest led Dr. Dani Troop to study Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph, where they gained a deeper understanding of human movement. She then pursued her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly NYCC), where she also developed a love for weightlifting. Post-graduation, her focus is on optimizing strength and explosive power to enhance performance, prevent injuries, and facilitate rapid recovery.
With a fresh perspective on treating pain and movement dysfunctions, Dr. Dani Troop specializes in manual and instrument-assisted soft tissue techniques, as well as joint mobilization and manipulation. Certified in sports science, human performance optimization, and whole foods nutrition, her approach is rooted in a comprehensive understanding of the body and her mission is to provide accurate diagnoses, deliver effective treatments, and empower patients to take control of their health and performance by improving their movement patterns, flexibility, and strength.
