Dans ses motsKristen is a graduate of Bryan College in Toronto and is excited to grow her clientele base in the Oakville area. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour as well as a diploma in behavioural technology which she believes will aid in her success as an RMT. She strives to reduce stress and muscle tension for all of her clients, helping them live their best life.
Kristen believes in educating her clients about proper body mechanics and often provides them with individualized home care to help reduce muscle discomfort between treatments. She prefers to have an open communication with each client and finds that her best work is done by regularly monitoring the client’s tolerance and perception of the treatment. Kristen uses a variety of techniques to achieve favourable results. She has a certification in dry cupping, and uses trigger point release, scraping, deep tissue, and myofascial techniques to help the tissue relax. She prefers to perform targeted therapy and would describe her treatments as “body work”. In other words, she will focus on what techniques the client responds to best and will use multiple approaches within treatment to allow clients to leave with less discomfort than when they arrived.
