I am a proud member of Couchiching First Nation on a meaningful journey toward becoming a therapist guided by a deep commitment to healing, community, and cultural connection. Rooted in my traditions and inspired by the strength of my ancestors, I am pursuing my education with the goal of supporting others through compassion, understanding, and culturally grounded care.
My path is shaped by both academic learning and the wisdom of my community, where storytelling, resilience, and holistic well being will play a vital role. I am passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces where individuals can be seen, heard and respected. As I continue my studies, I carry a vision of bridging traditional knowledge and modern therapeutic practices - working to uplift others, while honoring my identity, the people, and the generations that came before.
I hold an Honours Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work from Laurentian University and a Bachelor of Arts from Lakehead University, and I am currently completing my Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
On a personal note, you will see me engaged in community events, on the golf course, and traveling with my family.. I look forward to meeting you and supporting your mental well being journey.
