Luca is a registered massage therapist (RMT) committed to providing the highest level of care to his patients. His evidence informed treatments aim to reduce pain, optimize function, prevent injury, and improve overall health and quality of life. Luca believes in a patient centred treatment approach, where he identifies your goals and creates a unique treatment plan to help you obtain them.
Luca’s treatments include a variety of techniques such as; Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point release, stretching, Active Release Techniques® (ART®), neurofunctional acupuncture, cupping, joint mobilizations, postural and myofascial alignment, MET, Kinesiology Taping, and exercise
prescription.
Luca has always been passionate about biology, physiology, and exercise. He completed his undergraduate degree at York University, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Kinesiology. Luca continued his education in health and science by attending Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, where he treated patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
Luca continues his education in his professional career by taking courses and obtaining certifications. Luca is certified in acupuncture, and is an Active Release Techniques® (ART®) certified provider.
In his free time, Luca enjoys playing soccer, volleyball, tennis, and doing hot yoga.
