À propos de Luke
Dans ses motsFrom a young age, I've always had a strong passion for sports, fitness, and wellness with my background in competitive baseball, volleyball, and track and field. Before becoming a massage therapist, my focus was on personal training, kinesiology, and customer service.
As a therapist my main goal is to ultimately help others to feel their very best whether it be for performing in a certain sport or activity, or just dealing with everyday stress. My extensive education in the field includes a diploma in Fitness and Health, a B.A. in Psychology and Kinesiology and a honours diploma in Massage Therapy. I currently specialize in therapeutic and relaxation treatments while tailoring my treatments in a focused individualized manner.
I treat individuals with all kinds of different conditions such as, muscle imbalances, posture deficiencies, and other personalized situations.

« Athletic/Sports Massage Treatment is specifically designed to support individuals in their physical activities, whether they're recovering from an injury, preparing for a performance, or aiming to improve flexibility and reduce injury risks. The treatment combines a variety of techniques to address the needs of the body before, during, or after physical activity. Here's an overview of the key components of this type of massage:
Cupping: This therapy involves placing specialized cups on the skin to create suction. The suction helps to increase blood flow to specific areas, reduce muscle tension, and promote healing by enhancing circulation and reducing inflammation.
Light Scraping Tools: Often used for soft tissue manipulation, tools like Gua Sha stones or Graston tools are gently scraped along the skin to help release muscle tightness, break down scar tissue, and increase range of motion.
Percussion Massage Gun: A deep tissue technique that uses rapid, short pulses to penetrate deep into muscles. This helps reduce muscle soreness, relieve tension, and stimulate blood circulation for quicker recovery.
Trigger Point Tool: A targeted approach to release knots and tight spots in the muscle, known as trigger points. Using specific pressure on these areas can relieve pain and promote better muscle function.
Stretching: Dynamic or passive stretching techniques help improve flexibility, enhance muscle length, and support overall mobility. This can also help prevent injuries by preparing the muscles for activity.
Overall, Athletic/Sports Massage Treatment can benefit athletes and active individuals by reducing muscle soreness, improving mobility, preventing injuries, and accelerating recovery, all through a combination of therapeutic techniques tailored to the individuals needs. »3 optionsAthletic/Sports Massage Treatment session
