Mckenzie Martin, RMT
À propos de Mckenzie
Dans ses motsI am a graduate from Humber College, class of 2019, where I worked directly with patients during the on and off-campus internships from year 2-3. During these internships I had a chance to work with infants, pre/post-natal mothers, athletes, patients who suffered with ABIs (acquired brain injuries), diabetes, physical and mental disabilities/illnesses, as well as patients who lived in long-term care facilities. I enjoy working with all populations with a focus on are patients that are pre/post-natal mother’s and their infants, any sport athletes, as well as patients that are looking for rehabilitation treatment plans. Throughout the future years I hope to further my knowledge and skills by partaking in courses and am looking at going back to school to become an Osteopath.

Brazilian Lymphatic Massage
« Brazilian lymphatic drainage is a specialized massage technique that gently stimulates the lymphatic system, which plays a vital role in the body’s immune and circulatory functions. The lymphatic system is a network of vessels and nodes that transports lymph—a fluid containing white blood cells, waste products, and excess fluids—throughout the body. Unlike the circulatory system, it relies on body movements, muscle contractions, and manual stimulation to move lymph fluid.
Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage is a full-body treatment that not only encourages fluid movement but also incorporates fascial techniques to support tissue health. Using quick, rhythmic, and gentle yet precise movements, it helps stimulate lymphatic flow, clearing excess fluids and toxins from the tissues, reducing inflammation, and supporting immune function. Originating in Brazil and now popular worldwide, this method is known for both its therapeutic health benefits and aesthetic results, such as reduced swelling and improved body contours. »Infant Massage
