Dans ses motsMelissa completed an advanced massage therapy diploma at Mohawk College with honours and is a Hamilton grown RMT. Her time in school gave her extensive knowledge in Swedish Massage, trigger point therapy and remedial exercise. Playing recreational sports, she always had a fascination with anatomy. She has had experience treating many different populations from CFL football players, geriatrics, hospice residents and retirees. Melissa offers a nurturing approach to her treatments, especially when treating clients with repetitive strain injuries, arthritis and other chronic pain conditions. She is cupping certified and has taken additional continuing education to have a more in depth understanding of TMJ dysfunction.

I just had my second massage with Melissa and I feel amazing! She is fantastic! Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, the fact that she integrates stretching with massage makes a huge difference. I will definitely continue seeing her!

Had a great post-lockdown massage with Melissa V. today. she was very friendly and professional and took the time to assess what my concerns were. She made sure to explain the physiology and evidence-based reasoning behind what she was doing, which I really appreciated.
