À propos de Ryan
Dans ses motsRyan graduated from the University of Toronto Physical Therapy program in 2005. He is dedicated to being a life long learner and is continuing to improve his skills as a physiotherapist. In 2012, Ryan completed his Diploma of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and has joined an elite group of physiotherapists that is committed to providing quality patient care. He is also certified in acupuncture with Acupuncture Canada (CAFCI), and has furthered his skill set by studying intramuscular stimulation (IMS) with The Institute for the Study and Treatment of Pain (iSTOP). He also has training in Kinesiotaping, soft tissue release and vestibular rehabilitation.
Ryan also has a keen interest in teaching and training younger physiotherapists. In addition to volunteering countless hours providing mentorship to assist other physiotherapists receive their requirements, Ryan also assists in the level courses held by the Orthopedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Ryan maintains a position at the Toronto Western Hospital working within the inpatient setting and has experience working with a variety of patients with orthopaedic, neurological and cardiorespiratory conditions.
When Ryan is not working, he enjoys spending his free time playing men’s and co-ed slo-pitch, ultimate frisbee, and snowboarding.
