Shena graduated in 2002 from the 3000 hour program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria and is the co-owner of the Westshore Massage Therapy Clinic.
Shena enjoys helping people at every stage of life providing preventative and remedial therapy. She has a holistic approach and considers the physical, mental, spiritual and social needs of her patients in an effort to provide personalized treatments and recommendations for improved wellness. Shena has a gentle and intuitive approach using a variety of modalities in each treatment including therapeutic Swedish massage and Osteopathic techniques such as CranioSacral therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilization, stretching and movement.
Through practical and personal experience Shena has witnessed the effectiveness of massage and CranioSacral therapy to stimulate the body's own corrective mechanisms and bring deep relaxation and healing to the body, mind and spirit. She is honoured by each opportunity to facilitate a healing process.

« CranioSacral Therapy is a light-touch manual approach that enhances the body’s natural healing capabilities. The CranioSacral Therapy practitioner essentially helps the body release restrictions – which it has been unable to overcome on its own – that inhibit the body’s normal, self-correcting tendencies. Rather than deciding how these changes should be made, the therapist follows cues from the body on how to proceed. When the therapist follows this gentle approach, the method is extremely safe and effective. A CranioSacral Massage Therapy session is an integration of CranioSacral therapy, gentle massage therapy, and osteopathic techniques. Depending on what your body is presenting, a session may address restrictions within the CranioSacral system (dura, cranium, and spine), ligaments, joints, fascia, muscles, and viscera.
