Aletha graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2018. Aletha has since worked with a variety of clients including high level athletes, pregnancy, and chronic pain disorders. Her treatment style is often described as intuitive and effective. She incorporates techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point release, and deep tissue to name a few. Aletha is also a trained yoga teacher (200hr) which often influences her homecare. She believes a well-rounded self-care routine is invaluable for maintaining physical and mental wellbeing. She sees massage as a wonderful addition to an established routine or a great way to start a new one. She aims to have a holistic and integrative approach to treatment in order to ensure a positive and individual experience for each patient. This 60-minute appointment offers a hybrid of traditional RMT massage techniques (including General Swedish massage, myofascial release, stretching, and muscle activation) and Craniosacral Therapy (CST). CST is a gentle therapy that uses as little pressure as 5 grams, or the weight of a nickel, to release tissue restrictions and promote healing in the body. Patients can expect to spend approximately half the treatment time receiving traditional massage, and the other half receiving craniosacral therapy.
