Alex is a registered physiotherapist originally from Cambridge, U.K., with a background in personal training and sports massage therapy since 2008. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Health and a Master’s in Physiotherapy. Since relocating to Vancouver in 2017, Alex has become a trusted clinician for athletes and active individuals looking to recover, perform, and stay injury-free. Alex specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of hip, knee and ankle injuries—particularly ACL reconstruction—as well as running and cycling-related injuries. As an ultra-marathon runner and avid cyclist himself, Alex brings a deep understanding of the physical demands of endurance sports to his clinical practice. He integrates advanced techniques such as IMS (intramuscular stimulation) needling, shockwave therapy, BFR (blood flow restriction training), running gait analysis, and professional bike fitting into his individualized treatment plans. Whether you’re an injured athlete aiming to return to play or a weekend warrior hoping to prevent future injuries, Alex is passionate about early intervention, movement optimization, and helping patients regain confidence in their bodies. Outside of Launch Rehab, you’ll find Alex trail running, weightlifting, playing soccer, hiking the local mountains, or exploring Vancouver’s roads on two wheels.
