Their own wordsAlexandra Sanidas, Registered Chiropodist, has a strong educational background including a post-graduate Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences in Chiropody at The Michener Institute of Education at the University Health Network (UHN) in addition to a Bachelor’s of Health Sciences Degree majoring in Kinesiology from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT).
Alexandra has applied her expertise to service a wide variety of communities with their foot care needs including seniors, children, athletes, and those with complex medical conditions and individual needs. In addition to nail, skin and callus care, Alexandra provides treatment related to diabetes, neuropathy, heel pain/plantar fasciitis, bunions, and fungal infections. She provides custom made orthotics (including plaster casting), injections, ingrown nail surgery, foot taping, she is able to prescribe medications and provide modalities such as laser as needed.
