Having dual bachelor’s degrees has provided Ali with a unique perspective on addressing complex social issues and promoting holistic well-being. It has also provided her with a robust foundation in trauma-informed and strength-based interventions, comprehensive assessments, counseling, and advocacy.
This combination allows Ali to approach her work with a deep understanding of the societal factors that contribute to individuals' challenges while also focusing on the individual strengths that empower them to overcome adversity.
Throughout her career, Ali has had the privilege of providing support to diverse populations, ensuring that interventions are tailored to each individual's unique needs. She has always been dedicated to the principles of person-centered care, fostering collaboration, and empowering each individual throughout their healing journey.
In addition to her work with Kindred Roots Therapy Inc., Ali also works for the Alberta Children’s Hospital as a Registered Social Worker. Ali is certified in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Informed Practice.
