About Alicia
Alicia Erenli is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. Alicia holds a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology.
Hey, I’m Alicia — a Registered Clinical Counsellor who believes therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale. I bring over 10 years of experience from community-based work into the counselling room, and I show up with a mix of clinical training, real-life perspective, and a deep respect for your story.
As a woman of colour and a parent, I work from an anti-oppressive and harm reduction lens rooted in lived experience — not just textbooks. I know firsthand how culture, family dynamics, politics, and systems shape our mental health. I welcome all of it into the space. Whether you’re navigating grief, anxiety, rage, relationships, parenting, substance use, or simply feeling stuck.
I’m here to walk with you through the mess and the magic.
I support youth, adults, couples, and families, and I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. My style is relational, honest, and non-judgmental. I bring in evidence-based tools (like DBT, CBT, Gottman, EFFT), but also trust that you know yourself best. Together, we’ll figure out what actually works for you — not just what “should.”
I’ve worked alongside folks dealing with trauma, mood fluctuations, substance use, caregiving burnout, boundary struggles, and identity questions. I hold space for the tough stuff, but also for joy, creativity, humour, and resilience — because healing isn't linear and it's rarely quiet.
If you’re looking for a therapist who can hold complexity, honour your lived experience, and keep it real, let’s connect.
