Originally from Calgary, Allysan brings a lifelong passion for movement and child development to her work as a physiotherapist. Allysan completed a dual degree Bachelor of Kinesiology and Bachelor of Arts in Dance at the University of Calgary where she focused on dance science, followed by a Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia.
As an avid dancer with years of experience teaching young dancers, Allysan developed a strong interest in dancer health, injury prevention, and helping children build confidence through movement. Allysan’s background allows her to blend evidence-based physiotherapy with creativity, body awareness, and play by making therapy engaging and meaningful for kids of all ages and abilities.
Outside the clinic, Allysan can be found exploring the beautiful mountain trails of BC, jogging alongside the ocean, and continuing to discover new avenues of dance. Allysan is passionate about supporting children and their families as they work toward their goals and discover the joy of movement.
