About Amanda
Their own words
Amanda completed her Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta and her Bachelor’s Degree in Community Rehabilitation from the University of Calgary. She is an Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) Authorizer for primary product range, and can assist both pediatric and adult patients in obtaining cost-shared medical equipment such as: bathing or toileting equipment, soft splints, walkers, and more.
Previously, Amanda has worked in a clinic, multiple long-term care facilities, and a hospital in the emergency department. She continues to focus on learning and growing her skillset to work with a wide variety of patients. Since becoming a mother, Amanda's passion for working with infants and children has become the focus of her career, as her son was previously a patient at Stork Physiotherapy. Amanda can provide empathetic, patient, and holistic care to your child as a well-versed Physiotherapist and the mother of a little one who needed some help along the way.
Amanda believes that education, exercise, and movement are key to successful rehabilitation. She will work with you to identify your goals and will ensure you have the tools to successfully complete your treatment plan. Amanda would love to work with you and develop a care plan specific to your needs in the comfort of your home.
