About Amanda

Their own words
We’ve heard “life is full of ups and downs”, but have you ever thought to yourself “why does it have to feel so hard?" Maybe the end of a relationship, a new life transition or trying to balance all of life’s stressors is causing you to feel stuck, worried or overwhelmed. Worry due to interpersonal stressors, performance, phobias or feeling as though you aren’t meeting expectations can be difficult, but you do not have to hold the weight alone. Allow me to help support your process of healing, exploring thought patterns and strengthen your capacity to cope. Perhaps, you’re not quite sure what it is you’re seeking and that’s okay too, we can explore any discomfort you may be experiencing together. I am a Registered Social Worker with 20 years of practice in the mental health field in community, outpatient and inpatient settings. I offer a compassionate, person-centred approach, meaning, I will incorporate modalities best suited to your needs. I am passionate about working alongside individuals to empower them to manage stressful situations, improve self-esteem, cope with a life transition and re-discover a life worth living. Schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to decide if my services are right for you.
