Their own wordsAna graduated from the University of Toronto in 2005 with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology. At that time, she decided to pause her post-graduate studies to focus on raising her young family. She recently went back to school and graduated (2023) from Durham College's two-year Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) program. She found it to be an amazing and rewarding experience.
Ana joined our OWC team a little over a year ago as a Physiotherapist Assistant; she primarily works alongside Manish and Katie. Under their delegation, she is committed to delivering safe, client-centered care and enjoys supporting their patients reach their therapeutic goals via modalities or rehabilitative exercises. Since joining the clinic, Ana is also OWC's certified compression stockings and brace fitter. She looks forward to continuing to learn and grow her clinical skills while working with her multi-disciplinary team.
Outside of the clinic, Ana enjoys being a mom of 4, engaging in physical activity, gardening and cooking up a storm!
