Ana Whelan, PT
SaveAna Whelan received her Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from Queen’s University in 1994 and her Bachelor of Education from Ottawa University in 1995. After teaching for the Toronto District School Board for 3 years, she decided to pursue her passion for Physiotherapy. In 2000, she graduated from McMaster University’s Physiotherapy program.
Over the past 19 years, Ana has completed her advanced manual physiotherapy orthopaedic courses Level I-III and employs a hands-on, manual therapy approach with her patients. She has taken many continuing education courses over the years including acupuncture, manual lymph drainage, prevention of running injuries, osteoporosis treatment and prevention, and most recently courses in pelvic health physiotherapy.

Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Assessment
Orthopaedic (paediatric) Physiotherapy Assessment: Hirvi has a strong clinical interest in pediatric physiotherapy, with over 10 years of experience in this field. She has worked with children from as young as 20 days old, treating a wide range of conditions including cerebral palsy, delayed gross motor development, hypotonia, torticollis, plagiocephaly, and complications related to prematurity. She has extensive training in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) and sensory integration. Hirvi is also experienced in providing rehabilitation for high-risk infants, with a focus on educating and empowering parents through guidance and hands-on training.
Pediatric Physiotherapy Treatment
Due to scheduling conflicts, it is recommended to schedule 4 additional weekly visits with your practitioner.
