Andrew graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2015. Throughout his career, he has focused on treating people one-on-one for a wide variety of sports injuries, general aches and pains, and chronic health conditions. Having personally experienced repeated shoulder dislocations and surgeries, Andrew has developed a strong interest in assisting others with shoulder injuries. An unexpected diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis during his studies further motivated him to specialize in treating arthritic conditions, including Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis. Over the years, he has worked closely with doctors to help their patients regain function and return to the activities they enjoy. Additionally, Andrew contributes annually to the UBC Master of Physical Therapy Program as a lab instructor for the Rheumatology module, sharing his expertise with future physiotherapists. Andrew’s approach centers on empowering his patients with the knowledge and tools for self-management and injury rehabilitation. His sessions typically include a thorough assessment, intramuscular stimulation (IMS) dry needling, and a personalized management plan with exercises. Outside the clinic, Andrew enjoys spending time with his young family, mountain biking, snowboarding, traveling, and frequenting local coffee shops.
