My journey to becoming a Registered Clinical Counsellor began with a deep fascination for human behaviour during my Psychology studies. I loved learning about different theories and case studies, and observing the stigma around mental health in various communities motivated me to offer support and guidance to those in need. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I understand the challenges of being human—and I've dealt with issues like procrastination and stress myself! My personal experience helps me approach therapy without judgment, creating a safe space where you can share your vulnerabilities. I take a holistic, inclusive, and collaborative approach to the counselling process. It’s important to me to create a comfortable environment for deep and meaningful conversations. I use an eclectic approach, combining Person-Centered, Emotion-Focused, Gestalt, CBT, and Solution-Focused therapies to best fit your goals and needs. In our first session, we’ll go through necessary documents, set expectations, and discuss your background and concerns, with the goal of identifying therapeutic objectives together. I enjoy building rapport with clients and using our strong therapeutic relationship to support your healing and goals. Seeing your progress, no matter how small, is incredibly rewarding. I believe wellness is about finding balance in various aspects of life, and I’m committed to helping you discover what works best for you.
