Inspirational quote:
“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy — the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” – Brene Brown
How do you believe counselling can help:
Counselling is a collaborative journey between a therapist and client that supports healing and growth. Counselling provides a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can openly express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Through a supportive counselling relationship, I believe meaningful change and insight can emerge.
Your approach to counselling:
I use a client-centred and strength-based approach to counselling, where I focus on helping clients draw on their own strengths, values, and resources. Everyone’s journey is unique, and I’m dedicated to creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences.
April’s interaction style is gentle and laid-back.
