About Ashley
Ashley is currently taking new clients
Ashley is a warm and thoughtful Registered Psychologist with a professional background spanning both psychology and family law. She supports children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating trauma, high-conflict relationships, family transitions, and complex mental health concerns.
Ashley specializes in legal and forensic psychological assessments, including parenting capacity, risk, guardianship and trusteeship, Voice of the Child, and Practice Note 7 and 8 matters. She approaches this work with care, objectivity, and a strong understanding of the emotional and relational complexities involved in separation, divorce, and court-involved family matters.
In therapy, Ashley creates a calm and compassionate space where clients can feel safe, understood, and supported. Her approach is trauma-informed and client-centred, taking into account each person’s cultural background, relationships, lived experiences, and individual needs. She draws from EMDR, CBT, DBT-informed practices, expressive arts, and play therapy, adapting her work to each client’s age, strengths, circumstances, and goals.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys curling up with her cat and a good book, cross-stitching, discovering Calgary’s coffee shops, and attending the ballet or Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.
