Adolescents, Adults, Crisis Intervention, Intimate Partner Violence, ADHD, Parenting Challenges, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Trauma Therapy I am a Registered Psychotherapist bringing over 20 years of experience working with diverse populations including clients requiring crisis intervention and mental health support, intimate partner violence, and also have experience with first responder populations. Clients often come to me to manage challenging life transitions, work through adult diagnosis of ADHD, manage anxiety and depression, for support in navigating parenting challenges, trauma intervention, or just to find extra support to deal with day-to-day stressors! I provide holistic, client-centred, and real-world strategies for growth and change. I am guided by many theories, including Narrative Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (among others). It is very important to me that every approach is trauma-informed, meaning you can expect to find safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment in everything we do. Whatever areas of focus you bring to therapy, my goal is to provide you with a warm, safe, and supportive environment where you can be (or find) your authentic self. You will have a safe and comfortable place to learn how to go from anxious, unhappy, overwhelmed – to confident, calm, and decisive. You can have a meaningful, productive and empowered life.
