Bal is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master’s degree in Counselling
Psychology. She brings a compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed
approach to her work with individuals, couples, and families. Bal is passionate about
supporting clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life
transitions, and the impacts of trauma.

collaboratively to help clients feel heard, empowered, and supported.
Bal integrates various evidence-based modalities in her practice and tailors her
approach to each person’s unique story and goals. She creates a safe and non-
judgmental space where clients can explore difficult emotions, gain insight, and move
toward meaningful change.
As a South Asian clinician, Bal is especially passionate about holding space for clients
from diverse cultural backgrounds, and she offers counselling in both English and
Punjabi.

A 4-week virtual support group for mothers navigating the postpartum journey. Connect with other new moms, share your experiences, and receive guidance in a safe, supportive space. Sessions are led by Bal Atwal, RCC, a therapist and mother of two, using evidence-based approaches to support emotional wellbeing. When: Mondays, 7:00 – 8:30 PM, starting April 13 Cost: $99/session (direct billing may be available)
