The experience gave her the opportunity to work with many different people and conditions in a condensed period of time. Being at the lodge helped her develop the skills needed to use therapeutic techniques while keeping the treatment relaxing and enjoyable. Becky began working permanently in Victoria in October 2007 and decided to open her own clinic in January 2009. In August, 2009 Becky also completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences with a focus in Massage Therapy.

Acupressure uses the thumbs, fingers and palms to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities. When these points are pressed, they release muscular tension and promote the circulation of blood and the body's life force to aid healing.
