Beth Bates is a Registered Physiotherapist. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics, Master’s degree in biomedical physiology and Kinesiology from SFU and her Physiotherapy Master’s from UBC. She worked as a Kinesiologist for eight years before becoming a Physiotherapist. Her treatment philosophy is to teach patient what they can do to improve and maintain optimal functioning. Beth has completed numerous post-graduate courses in acupuncture, IMS/Dry needling, vestibular (vertigo) treatment, manual therapy and exercise prescription. Beth completed post-graduate training in Australia where she learned from leaders in her profession about spinal mobilization and manual therapy. When not at work she loves rock climbing, playing soccer, hiking and volunteering in the community at the Cool Aid Community Health Centre.Read more about BethShow less
