About Bret

Their own words
Bret is a devoted wellness practitioner with a strong foundation in both Western and holistic approaches to health. With a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology (2018 convocation) and extensive training in massage therapy (registered in 2020 as an RMT), Bret brings a deep understanding of the human body as well as the healing power of physical touch. Having grown up steeped in athletic culture, Bret has always strived to embody his mantra of 'Movement is Medicine'. Currently, Bret is deepening into his life's work by learning Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, a treatment modality that he weaves into his RMT work (learn more here: https://www.craniosacraltherapy.org/what-is-bcst-). Over the course of his career, Bret has had the privilege of working with a wide array of demographics including high level athletes (including professional and semi-professional), seniors, children, and adults. Bret's work is informed by his breadth of experience with many healing modalities and disciplines, including Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine, Counselling, Breathwork, Reiki, Sound Healing, Hypnotherapy, and various Shamanic technologies and initiations. Collectively, these experiences have given Bret a wide-lens perspective that he is able to bring into his work, allowing for a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection and the innate wisdom and power that is inherent to every individual.
