Candice holds a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work and a Graduate Degree specializing in children and youth mental health. Candice is registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers and has 20 years of experience working with children, adults and families. Candice works with adults, children and couples and uses a variety of different methods in therapy and this includes CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, DBT, and Play Therapy. The method that Candice uses will be determined by your goals, needs and what is helpful for you. Candice believes that therapy needs to meet the clients needs and that clients can process, think and absorb information differently. Because everyone is different in what they need, She will use methods that fit with the client. Candice believes that connection is the foundation of a therapeutic relationship and it is important to feel comfortable with the therapist you choose. Candice works Monday 9-4 and Tuesday-Thursday 5-8pm.
