Carissa is a compassionate and collaborative therapist who supports individuals, couples, and families navigating burnout, anxiety, depression, panic disorder, adjustment challenges, and perfectionism, particularly during times of transition. She works with clients to better understand their experiences while building resilience and practical tools for managing change.
Her integrative approach draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), mindfulness, and somatic experiencing. Carissa helps clients regulate emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and strengthen connection within themselves and their relationships.
Carissa creates a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel supported in navigating life’s challenges, restoring balance, and fostering meaningful, lasting growth. Carissa is currently welcoming new clients for in-person sessions in Cambridge and virtual sessions across Ontario and parts of Canada.
