Cassie is a Registered Herbal Therapist, medicine-maker, and eternal student of nature. She has extensive experience and training in biomedicalism, clinical herbalism, and herbal formulation through her 4-year diploma of Phytotherapy with Pacific Rim College, as well as her BSc at the University of Victoria, with a focus on biopsychology. She founded Spiral Bloom Herbal Medicine, where she offers private consultations in medical herbalism and locally crafted herbal medicine products from her organic garden. Consultations involve a thorough and holistic exploration of one's health concerns and goals, overall body systems, health history, current medications, and natural health product regimes, followed by a custom herbal medicine treatment plan. Herbal medicines may include tinctures, teas, capsules, floral waters, creams, salves, and flower essences. Cassie has worked within a wide scope of practice within clinical herbalism, including digestive health, sleep, stress, immune system, autoimmunity, reproductive and hormonal health, skin health, and more. She is also in the process of receiving her Master's of Clinical Counselling and has a special interest in supporting her clients with mental health, addictions, nervous system resilience, and embodied self-empowerment. Cassie welcomes all people from all walks of life to explore the significance of incorporating plant medicines in their healing journey.
