About Cayden
Cayden earned his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from UBC in 2020, complementing his education with a comprehensive suite of certifications: Fascial Stretch Therapy Level 1, Soft Tissue Release Level 1, Running Mechanics Professional (Levels 1 & 2), Functional Patterns Human Foundations Practitioner, Pain Free Performance Specialist, and ACSM-Certified Personal Trainer.
He has experience working with a wide range of individuals, from children to seniors, in clinical, gym, and home environments. A passionate lifelong athlete, Cayden's early pursuit of professional baseball was altered by a significant knee injury requiring ACL and meniscus reconstruction. This personal experience with injury and rehabilitation, combined with his current involvement in submission grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, provides him with a unique understanding of both athletic performance and recovery.
As a practitioner, he has successfully supported clients with various musculoskeletal issues, including knee, shoulder, whiplash, and lower back injuries. Outside of his professional and athletic pursuits, Cayden enjoys hiking, playing guitar, snowboarding, target shooting, Muay Thai kickboxing, reading, cold-hot exposures, and watching anime. Driven by a desire to help others, Cayden is committed to continuous learning and skill development as both a kinesiologist and athlete.
